Rug and Spindle Weaver

I am a Weaver and Workshop Host based on the edge of Dartmoor. Rug and Spindle acts as a showcase dedicated to crafting high-quality handwoven rugs from locally sourced raw fleeces, mill selvedge and fleece waste.  I celebrate the rich heritage of wool, together with its unique qualities. I work from my heart.  I don't plan beyond the size of the weave.  I love the feeling of spinning in the raw, warm lanolin on my fingers, the character of the fibres and colours coming alive in front of me.
