Comfort acres was born out of a dream that I had for sometime. My education at a rural school in the New Forest, started the idea of pursuing something close to my heart – a career working with animals in the countryside. After studying environmental studies and then later, gaining qualifications from Sparsholt Agricultural collage, I was lucky enough embark on the venture of keeping Dwarf Dairy Goats, chickens and ducks an ideal piece of land in a pleasant village. In order to establish and grow a business, I researched how to make goats milk soap, plus beeswax candles and wraps. The idea of making goat walking experiences available to interested groups and families started to emerge.
