Breaks Fold Farm is a traditional hill farm in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. Our family have been here for 4 generations, taking care of this special corner of Yorkshire. The farm itself is a haven for wildlife as well as our mixed flock of sheep. We have won awards for our contribution to the environment as well as for our accommodation. Feeling at one with nature is what this place is all about. At the very heart of everything we do are sustainable farming practices and a deep commitment to the North Yorkshire environment. This balance between traditional land management and modern conservation is what makes a stay at Breaks Fold Farm so unique and memorable. Our farm spans 225 acres of beautiful, rolling countryside on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales within the Nidderdale National Landscape. We are home to a busy mixed flock of livestock, including our traditional local Swaledale sheep and our hardy, characterful Herdwick sheep.
