Field View, Cornish rural escape on a small farm at the edge of Bodmin moor

Field View is a dog-friendly stay on a small farm on the edge of Bodmin Moor, with a dog-secure garden and use of a 2 acre dog walking field. You are surrounded by beautiful views of the moor and farmland. It's only half an hour from the South Coast and about an hour to the surfing beaches of the North Coast. There are several pubs within 3 miles of Fanolas Farm, as well as farm shops and tea rooms. Go for a walk, ride or cycle on Bodmin Moor, or stay at Field View and light the fire pit and have a barbecue under the starlit dark skies. There are two bedrooms. One has a double bed, the other has two single beds that can be zip locked together. Please ask us and we will arrange the beds as you would like. In the bathroom you will find a bath with a shower over. There is a barbecue and a moveable firepit, which you will find in the storeroom. There is a courtyard right outside Field View and a private garden up some steps from the courtyard, secure for you and your dog. The 2 acre secure dog walking field is just a short stroll up the drive and across the yard, near the entrance to Fanolas Farm. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs, but please note that they must be on a lead when they are not in the garden or in the dog walking field. If you are bringing your dog, please book it in when you book your stay, so that we know to leave you dog bowls, dog blankets and towels and some treats for your dog. There is an additional charge of £24 for your stay, to cover the cost of extra cleaning. Field View is the perfect place to be based for day tripping. To fully enjoy all that the area has to offer a car is essential, due to our rural location. There are three other holiday lets at Fanolas Farm, Field End, Stable End and Rosie's. All together they can accommodate 14 guests. Nearby are The Cheesewring and Hurlers standing stones at Minions, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and several National Trust properties. There are fabulous nature walks at Golitha Falls, with its Inkies Smokehouse for lunches and refreshments. The Adrenalin Quarry at Liskeard, water sports at Sibleyback lake, horse trekking on Bodmin Moor, alpaca walking on the moor and many other local attractions. Park at Minions, which is a short drive from Fanolas Farm, and walk through the 'Hurlers' standing stones on the way to the iconic Cheesewring, with its dramatic views.

A small Farm on the edge of Bodmin Moor, Cornwall. We have three stylishly converted lodges on the farm, some are dog-friendly and one has a hot tub. We also a converted horse lorry as a romantic getaway for two with a wood-fired hot tub. We have a small flock of Herdwick sheep, some goats, some chickens, ducks, geese, quail and a retired horse. There are three lodges on Fanolas Farm, sleeping 4 guests in each one. All have secure gardens. Two are dog friendly and one has a wood fired hot tub.
