Contemporary Art Gallery

Welcome to The Barn Studio Gallery, featuring the contemporary art of Manchester artist Karen Holt. Set in a converted barn, this is a working studio and gallery where you can see beautiful original paintings, hand embellished one-of-a-kind pieces, giclée art prints and Fine Art Prints, all painted with love. Karen's work is contemporary and full of colour, and a visit here is a chance to take your time, look properly, and talk about the paintings with the artist herself. You can see how the prints are made, ask about the inspiration behind a piece, and find out what goes into creating an original work from first brushstroke to finished canvas. The gallery is open from 12pm to 4pm Friday to Sunday, giving you plenty of time to browse at your own pace. It suits anyone who enjoys art, whether you are a serious collector, a first-time buyer looking for something for the wall, or simply curious to see an artist at work in her own space. Wear whatever is comfortable; a barn studio is a working place, so sensible shoes are a good idea. You will leave having seen real art being made and, if you wish, with a piece to take home with you.
