Peg Loom Weaving Workshop

PEG LOOM WEAVING WORKSHOP A wonderful way to spend half a day as a treat for yourself, fun with friends, hen party activity, school holidays or to connect with a new skill. I run peg loom weaving workshops in my cosy kitchen on the edge of Dartmoor or outside if the weather is fine. Half a day includes full materials and tuition, a light lunch, home-made cakes and plenty of tea, coffee, squash. I will be showing you various fleeces in the raw and then provide you with washed and carded fibre to create a small rug, seat pad or moggie mat. The 3 hr workshop will include cutting cotton warp lengths, threading and setting up a peg loom, weaving, having a go at carding the fleece and finishing off your special piece, ready to take home with you! Lunch will be served and give you a chance to chat and ask any questions about weaving, wool, looms etc. Wool is such a renewable and sustainable source with hypoallergenic qualities. As well as being very cosy! You will be taking home something that was literally grown on the sheep at the farm.
