Animal Experience - Meet our friendly farm animals and horses on a guided hands on experience

Come and meet our friendly animals, interact with them, discover our rare breeds and enjoy time on our family farm. What you're booking: a relaxed, guided walk around the farm where you'll meet a selection of animals, ask the farmer questions and enjoy hands-on interaction where it's appropriate. It's a gentle, unhurried experience in the countryside, suitable for all ages. Fancy a pony ride too? Pony rides can be added to your visit for an extra fee, subject to availability. Add on when you book, or ask on the day if there's a free slot. Children only. Every visit may vary slightly depending on the season and what's happening on the farm. That's what keeps it genuine and personal, rather than a scripted show. Under 2s go free when accompanied by a full price adult ticket. Arrival From 30 minutes before your experience starts, so we can get you settled in. The Farmers Rest Open for your arrival and for an hour after your experience, so you can grab drinks and snacks. Animal Experience Supervision Policy * Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult throughout the experience. * Young people age 12 and over may attend independently if a parent or guardian  * All visitors taking part in the experience require a booked ticket, expect children under 2 who attend free. 
Booking/Cancellation Policy * Full payment required at the time of booking * Bookings are non-refundable and are non-transferable * If Sweetlands Farm has to cancel due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund * Timings may vary depending on the size of the group booked on.
