The House in the Hill, at Swinside Townfoot

Our family farm is in the beautiful Oxnam Valley, in the Scottish Borders. Alongside breeding and managing our North Country Cheviots, Cheviot Mules, and pedigree Bluefaced Leicesters, we have diversified and built a luxury, off-grid holiday property at the highest point on our farm, called The House in the Hill. The House in the Hill sleeps up to 4 (plus up to 2 infants) and is completely self-sufficient - using power from both solar and ground sources. The property features a wood-burning hot tub, ceiling-hung fireplace and a rooftop terrace - perfect for gazing up at the Dark Skies above.
