Piggy Cwtch & Play Experience (Nov & Jan - Feb) plus optional Pignic

At Y Fferm Fach, our piggy experiences are relaxed, welcoming, and full of gentle moments that make families smile. The Piggy Cwtch & Play Experience brings all the joy of Winter together with the playful personalities of our pigs. It’s a cosy, hands‑on autumn adventure with our friendly girls Anna, Elsa, Princess Moana & Vanessa. Your visit will begin with a warm meet and greet in the cabin, followed by a friendly briefing so everyone feels confident and comfortable. You will learn who is cheeky, who is cuddly, and who loves treats the most. Step into the piggy play area for calm, close-up interaction with our pigs. They adore company and will come over for snuffles, scratches, and play. You can make yourself comfortable sitting on bales of straw or sit on the floor with them, whatever you prefer. You’ll spend time getting to know:· Anna, our ginger Kunekune — curious and loves shoelaces!!!!! Elsa, our black and white Kunekune — Playful, cheeky, and extremely cute!!· Princess Moana — A gentle rescue who has found her forever home, calm, and loves belly rubs.· Vanessa – She is Miss Bossy Boots but is the most gorgeous girl and loves ear scratches. We let the pigs set the pace — if they want to play, we play; if they want a quiet cuddle, we slow down with them. Piggy Pick & Mix is next: you’ll head to the Piggy Treat Station to prepare their snacks. You will create a seasonal Piggy Pick & Mix, where you can choose their favourite treats and fill a play ball with wholesome snacks. Back in the pen, it’s treat time — expect crunching, rooting, rolling, and plenty of giggles as the pigs enjoy their autumn feast and some lovely piggy play time. Piggy pamper time is next. After all the excitement, the pigs love a gentle pamper. You take part in a calm grooming session, brushing the piggies and helping them relax. It’s peaceful, grounding, and perfect for children and adults alike. After piggy playtime ends, your visit continues in the cabin with a hot chocolate with marshmallows or a cup of tea, and if it’s a chilly day, the log burner will be lit to keep you cosy and warm. Little ones can enjoy piggy colouring, while older children complete a short Piggy Expert quiz, and of course the adults can relax and talk about all things piggy. It’s a quiet moment to unwind, chat, and enjoy the view of the farm. Please wear sensible shoes. No open-toe sandals, flip flops or crocs. Boots or trainers are best.
