No booking necessary. Open weekends and holidays 11-3 The Buffalo Bite at Thorabella Farm is our on-site takeaway catering unit serving up proper farm-to-fork food in the heart of the countryside. From juicy buffalo burgers and loaded fries to homemade cakes, creamy Jersey milkshakes and fresh coffee, it’s the perfect stop whether you’re visiting the animal walkaround, staying on the farm, or just passing by for a bite to eat. We have outdoor benches set up on the grass area for sunny days, along with covered seating under the overhang if the Scottish weather decides to make an appearance! Using our own farm produce wherever possible, The Buffalo Bite offers a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and a true taste of Thorabella Farm.

Thorabella Farm is a family-run countryside destination offering an honesty farmshop filled with local produce, including buffalo meat, Jersey milk, honey, cheeses, bacon, and more. Visitors can enjoy our animal walkaround, meet a variety of friendly animals, stay in cosy strawbale cabins, or stop overnight in our Campra Aire campervan spaces. We also welcome schools and travel trade groups for fun, educational farm tours and hands-on rural experiences.
