Weddings at White Heron Estate

Your love story starts here White Heron Estate sits in the quiet north west corner of Herefordshire, between Kington and Leominster, with the Welsh border a few miles to the west. It is a fourth generation working farm of around 700 acres: blackcurrants, orchards, a vineyard, sheep, woodland and grassland, farmed by the same family for four generations. We are an approved licensed premises for civil ceremonies, with two wedding venues. Both come with exclusive use, accommodation, secluded settings and spectacular views. The Colloquy The Colloquy is our intimate option. A stylish restored Victorian Chateau with a walled garden, pool, and extensive facilities that has become the reason most couples fall for it. Sleeping up to 23 guests in The Colloquy or up to 40 in additional cottages. Ceremonies can be held indoors or in the garden for up to 40 guests. It suits couples who want a gentle and intimate wedding. The Sheriffs The Sheriffs is our 18th century Queen Anne Country House, with generous grounds and is beautifully photogenic in almost any light. Exclusive use of the house and grounds for a larger group of guests, with the option of a marquee on the lawn accommodating up to 120 guests. Ceremonies We are licensed for both registrars and independent celebrants, so couples can have a legal ceremony here, or bring in a celebrant for a more bespoke ceremony. Indoor and outdoor ceremony options are available at both houses. Estate wine We have our own vineyards on the estate, and White Heron Estate Sparkling Wine is part of the wedding venue hire package. That means that the wine your guests are handed to toast the couple during the ceremony was grown in the field they can see from the lawn. 6 cases (36 bottles) of our sparkling wine is included in every booking. We also make our signature British Cassis from estate grown blackcurrant, as well as British Framboise from local Herefordshire raspberried. Tastings, welcome drinks, favours and toast packages can all be built around what we produce. Food, flowers and everything else We work with a hand picked list of local suppliers, including caterers, florists, planners, stylists, photographers, musicians and entertainers - these are people that we have worked with, and know and trust. However you picture the day - if you want a harpist, a hog roast or a ceilidh band - we know people... Venue and accommodation included Our wedding hire packages vary per venue but include a minimum of 2 to 4 nights stay and longer stays can be arranged.
