Wild Hill sits within Hillhouse Farm, a fourth-generation family enterprise farming in the Scottish Borders since 1933. We run low-intervention EasyCare sheep, grow oats for the Wildfarmed regenerative network, and are pioneering hemp as a crop for sustainable building products. Conservation runs alongside production: habitat creation, bioacoustic monitoring, and partnerships with Butterfly Conservation are bringing the land back for nature. We're also early adopters of AI across the farm, putting smart tools to work in genuinely practical ways. Five characterful holiday cottages are available to book now, and a brand-new programme of immersive farm experiences launches in summer 2026. Come for the views, the food, the wildlife, the welcome.
