The Teaser The Teaser is a cosy adults-only shepherd’s hut at Great Ashley Farm, a fourth-generation family beef farm set amongst woodland and fields in the Wiltshire countryside. It’s a great base for couples wanting to explore the area, with the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon just a few minutes away and Bath around 15 minutes by car. There’s something rather nice about staying on a working farm. You’ll be surrounded by open countryside and woodland, with the sights and sounds of farm life around you, but your own shepherd’s hut gives you a quiet place to come back to at the end of the day. Inside, The Teaser has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a king-size bed, underfloor heating, an en-suite shower room and a well-equipped kitchenette. It has the charm and character you would expect from a shepherd’s hut, but with modern facilities and a few thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable. Outside is your own private seating area and fire pit – perfect for sitting out with a drink after a day exploring, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of the farm. The location makes The Teaser particularly handy for exploring. Bradford-on-Avon is close by and is well worth a wander, with its independent shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and beautiful riverside setting. The Kennet & Avon Canal runs through the town and offers some lovely walking and cycling. Head in the other direction and you can be in Bath in around 15 minutes. There are also plenty of great days out within easy reach, from National Trust properties and pretty villages to Longleat, Stonehenge, Avebury and the Cotswolds. If you’d rather stay closer to home, there are walks and cycling routes through the surrounding countryside. The Teaser is an adults-only stay for two, offering the chance to enjoy a few days in the country without being miles from everything.
